Trying to fix a second-hand washing machine.
When trying to run a cycle, the washplate rotates with the drum, does not agitate and the drum only rotates clockwise.
This washer has definitely sat for awhile...
The was plate was fused shut. With a lit of breaking, we have removed it... We will try to pull entirely the inner drum.

Since this model doesn't have any belts, or clutch, what would cause the inner drum to rotate only clockwise?

We know we have some cleaning to do and pull it a bit more apart, but can a control panel do this, or a connector not place properly?
Thanks

Sounds like your inner spin basket tub is binding up, it should spin BOTH ways when you spin it by hand.

So its usually the bearings that have gone bad when it does that.

Here's the OEM tub seal and drive shaft repair kit:

Here's the OEM bearing and seal tool:

Thank you very much! We bought the washer second-hand, thinking it's working properly, but quickly realized that everything is fused. Currently running CLR thought, so we can take out the inner drum, clean it out and change out the rusty shaft. Thank you, again!
