My Whirlpool Cabrio washer (WTW68D0WW1) has developed a problem in the last couple of weeks. I begin a load in Normal mode, it progresses through the wash cycle and drains the tub. At that point, it's typically showing 18 minutes left and it just stops. Runs the drain motor for longer than I think is necessary, but eventually stops and just sits there - never showing an error code, just the 18 mins remaining. I let it sit for nearly an hour like that to see if it would eventually fail and it was still sitting there showing 18 minutes left. If I stop the load at this point and change the machine setting to Drain/Spin, it will go ahead and drain/spin, completing the load successfully. It just won't move from the drain to the spin stage as normal. Ran diagnostics, reports no error. Had the local Whirlpool tech out and they admit it's happening, but have no idea how to fix it.

Any suggestions?

Nothing pulls up for WTW68D0WW1 This is the closest I get--->WTW6800WW1

Maybe I'm reading the model wrong?

Yes, I see the 0 looks like a D but it can't be because nothing pulls up for WTW68D0WW1.

At any rate, it sounds like the control board has gone faulty.

Here's the control board for model WTW6800WW1, but its No Longer Available:
