A normal wash cycle runs down to 17 or 18 minutes left and then SD comes on and water valves open to fill tub. I stop and using manual tests drain and spin to finish the wash. The ohms reading on drain and recirculation pumps are good and all manual tests work. New control board?? Current one is W10611616.

I'm attaching your tech data sheet below.

Sd is displayed when the machine/motor control, by analyzing drag on the basket, detects a suds-lock condition, and is steady on while the control then runs a mini cleanout cycle.
If the cleanout cycle is unable to correct the over-sudsing problem, the cycle ends and Sd flashes in the display.
This may signify: ➔ Load is bunched or twisted around agitator. ➔ Excessive detergent usage. ➔ Basket cannot engage during drain step. ➔ Mechanical friction on drive mechanism, not allowing basket to engage.

The manufacturer has replaced part number W10611616 with part number W10761028

If you have ➔ Mechanical friction on drive mechanism, not allowing basket to engage. Your bearing is the problem. You'd need these parts below, not the control board.

Here's the tub seal and drive shaft repair kit for your model:
Tub Seal and Bearing Kit W10435302

Here's the bearing and seal tool to do this job, if you decide to:
Bearing Driver W10447783

Thank you. There is some noise on and off during the SD constant fill time, so I am going to replace the seal, shaft and bearings. I'll update later.

Ok, sounds good.

Did you replace the tub seal and drive shaft repair kit?

The good thing is that the wash cycle get to the end end/rinse and drain. I manually rinse and drain to finish, but am about to see if a local appliance shop will give me anything for it and just buy a new one. Fancy POS! Where can I buy an old school one that last 25 years?!?

How do you do this: "I stop and using manual tests drain and spin to finish the wash. "
