I’m replacing the bearings and shaft on my washer. I got the bearings in and the shaft will not go in all the way. How can I get the shaft in?

Hi,

We need the model number first.

Then you will see a link that says: How to find a model number.

Thanks,

Did also buy the bearing tool? If not you will need that to do this bearing and shaft job.

Here it is, the Bearing and Seal tool:
Bearing Driver W10447783

When you click that part link, you will see a video on how to do it.:)

Here's the Outer tub and drive shaft repair kit for this model, in case others need it too:

yes I bought the bearing tool and put them in but both bearings hit a lip on the shaft and the shaft won’t go any further in. The old shaft will go in though. Do you think I got a bad shaft?

Possibly yes, because I've always been able to get it in on all the ones I've done.
