I have a 17 year old York heat pump/ ac. I posted a video of the outside unit running and was wondering if I should be concerned with the slight rattling noise I hear. No problems generating hot/cold air. Any idea on what is causing it would be greatly appreciated, in case I do get a professional to come look at it. Thanks Jeff

Noise coming from your heat pump can be caused by several factors such as worn down and faulty hardware, or build-up of dust and various debris, which could be hindering the performance and efficiency of your heat pump. This is why regular maintenance is crucial in extending and preserving the life of your heating systems and ensuring that they are functioning well.
