What could be possible outcomes if an exhaust booster fan is not hooked up to the dryer? I live in an apartment building where the dryer in my unit isn't close to an exterior wall so all of the units have booster fans. Mine doesn't work. I notice my AC cycles more when the dryer is on. The laundry room is constantly hot and humid and some of my clothing seems to have prematurely worn out. It takes 2 cycles sometimes to dry clothing.

Plenty, the same things that could happen with a poorly installed or plugged dryer vent (see the following link). Poor drying, extended dry times, overheating of the dryer, possible premature component failure, internal lint buildup and at the extreme, possibility of fire could result.

Correcting the venting should be looked into IMO.
