    ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

    Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
    ...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Getting open / close door error continually will not reset

From other posts it appears that this may be a switch issue... can someone confirm part numbers for replacement switches my model?

I also saw something about a blown buss fuse.. would that apply to this model

Ok... I did the continuity check on the switches... bottom switch shows open in either position.. I assume that is the bad switch

Ok.. I changed switch.... now microwave turns on for half a second then back off...

Did I reinstall incorrectly?

Screen goes to "press start"

I think I got it working, changed lower switch... had to adjust it.. then it was working
