So I am having multiple issues with this dishwasher. The main issue is the unit will shut down without any error as the amber light will just turn off as if I never started the dishwasher. It happens in the first 10 minutes of starting the dishwasher give or take depending if there is water present in the dishwasher. I did a bit of trouble shooting and thought the drain pump failed as the dishwasher would shut down when it trying to drain the water in the dishwasher. I ordered a new drain pump. It ran great the first and second time. The third time, its doing the same thing even though the drain pump is able to drain the dishwasher. Now I am just lost.

Second is the pump. It leaks!! I thought I installed it incorrectly and reinstalled it. It still leaks. Then I took it apart and put in silicon grease (I use that for the seals in my pool pumps), it still leaks. Its a very slow leak, maybe a drop every minute. Enough for the sensor to trip and give a leak detection error after about 30 minutes of running. Could it be a bad pump? It took GE over a month to send me this pump as it was on backorder.

So I went back and ran rinse cycle 5 times. All 5x the washer would cancel its cycle right around the 10 minute mark. It would drain, wash, drain and the displays "cycle is canceled", then the systems does into idle mode.

Hi, Check the STATUS LED on the machine control for a flash pattern, or STEADY ON/STEADY OFF LED. Make sure you keep all the connections to the control board plugged into it while viewing that STATUS LED.

Here's the control(machine) board for your model: Configured Machine Control Board WD21X30158

Reconnect power to the dishwasher and view the STATUS LED. Make sure all connections on the control board are still in place.

Let us know what you find.

So I opened up the control board to look at the LED. I wasn't for sure if you want me to check status LED before or after it cancels cycle, so i checked both. It flashes every second before cycle. It flashes ever second after the cycle is canceled.

1x per 3 seconds? or 1x per second?

Ok, try this first--->Disconnect power to the dishwasher and pull the pressure sensor out and clean it.

Look at my post #3 here:

Here's the pressure sensor for your model:

So I took out the pressure sensor. I removed the sensor from the white plastic bracket. Wiped around the little hole as it was a little dirty. Not sure I needed to clean inside the hole? Not sure how to get inside to clean it. Installed the white bracket and installed the sensor. Took time to reinstall the drain pump as well

Results. Same deal. Cycle canceled at the 10 minute mark. Drain pump still leaks.

You can use a q-tip or something to that nature.
