Howdy - the fresh food section of my 7-year old GE Monogram fridge stopped cooling overnight. The lower two-drawer freezer section appears to be just fine.
Does anyone have any experience as to what might be the most likely culprit? Condenser fan motor? Evaporator fan motor? Start relay/capacitor?
Just looking for where to start and/or anyone else's similar experience.
Thanks!

Put a freezer thermometer in the freezer and tell us what the temperature is.

Do you hear the freezer(evaporator) fan motor running when you open the freezer door?

Do you see frost build-up on the back panel INSIDE the freezer?

Hi Jake,
Yes I hear the freezer fan motor running when I pull out either drawer.
I don't have a freezer thermometer but my MiniTemp hand-held gun shows 7F on the contents in the lower drawer and 19F on the contents in the upper drawer.
No, I don't see any frost build-up on the back panel inside the freezer.
The ice cubes in the bin in the upper freezer drawer are still frozen.

Thanks Jake - definitely sounds probable.
Is there anyway to check this with a multi-meter?
Anyway to bench-test the existing one? Could I remove it and apply power (12v?) to some of the leads?

Turns out that the fan, on I believe the evaporator, had come off and was no longer pushing cold air to the Fridge section. Didn't appear to have been securely attached at the factory. Simply re-attached it (securely) and it's now been 10 days and everything is great!

Excellent Paul, glad to hear that's all it was.(y)

Thanks for the update!

If it keeps happening you will likely need to replace the fan blade.

Here's the fan blade for your model:
