• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

GE Advantium not heating/turntable not moving. Example: touch 'express' button once, display starts counting down from 30, can hear initial click and countdown begins, but the interior light does not come on, the turntable does not turn, and no heating occurs. If you open the door, the interior light comes on. No error messages.

This occurred issue started after using microwave to cook baby potatoes in water. During cooking, one of the potatoes "popped" (under microwave safe cover) so opened the door to the Advantium to check and reposition the potatoes. Then closed the door and tried to restart cooking, and symptoms began. Any suggestion appreciated.
